The Setting of Violence is a project by Rein Jelle Terpstra about the modernist and futurist paintings that hang on the walls in Pier Paolo Pasolini’s film Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom (1975). Terpstra removed the violence, the victims and the perpetrators from the film stills, leaving only the rooms and the art in them. We designed the poster, wall texts and captions.
