Year: 2025
Type: Exhibition design
Client: Dutch Design Foundation
Collaboration with: Hofmeijer Dekker Ontwerpers

Designing Society was the Dutch Design Foundation’s central exhibition at Dutch Design Week 2025, at Strijp-S in Eindhoven. Starting from the idea that everything around us was designed, and can therefore be redesigned, it showed how design, together with science, business and government, can help tackle challenges such as climate change, polarisation and conflict.

Together with Hofmeijer Dekker Ontwerpers, we designed the exhibition as a follow-up to the 2024 edition, reusing its structure and part of its materials. Inside a greenhouse, white fabric-covered walls divided the space, and rented plastic pallets formed the furniture, with each project building its own composition. Three coloured routes guided three kinds of visitors (actors, social designers and curious minds) past the projects most relevant to them.
