Democratie NU?

Exhibition identity and publication for Democratie NU? (Democracy NOW?, 2026) at Rijksmuseum Twenthe, in collaboration with the GOGBOT festival. At a time when democracies worldwide are under pressure, fifteen Dutch and international artists, including Jonas Staal, Carlijn Kingma and Jenny Holzer, look at how power and systems work, how images influence us, and what role we play ourselves.

Both the exhibition and the book are divided into three chapters: Propaganda, System and Leadership. For each chapter we created an image built from the word DEMOCRATIE, each with a double meaning.
