Labyrinth of Sustainability
Our design for the installation Labyrinth of Sustainability at the Dutch Design Week 2019 aimed to provide visitors with an immersive experience of sustainable design complexity. The installation featured a textile labyrinth in which visitors were challenged to design a sustainable t-shirt. The interconnectedness of sustainable production was visually represented through a gradient of textile panels. The gradient was used to represent the intricate nature of sustainable production, where the influence of one color on another is indistinct, blurring the boundary between them. In addition to the design, Studio Kader also produced part of the exhibition.
